Rain and lightning were affecting areas surrounding the course, but apparently Mother Nature is a golf fan because the course sat unscathed for the majority of Thursday's play. In anticipation of the forecasted storms U.S. Golf Association officials moved up the tee at No.10 20 yards. The official yardage is listed at 218. Despite the move, it is still proving to be one of the more difficult holes on the course. Now, as the players are wrapping up day one action the rain has moved in. And as long as they can get their rounds in that is probably okay with them. A little overnight rain will do wonders to slow up these hard and difficult greens. Showers remain in the forecast for tomorrow. Stay tuned to Bleacher Report for all things US Open of Golf related, visit our golf page for all the latest news. —Richard Langford
