UFC 131: Predictions and Analysis as We Count Down to Vancouver

It was supposed to be the return of Brock Lesnar. If you asked UFC fans what 131 was supposed to be about, it was about Brock Lesnar getting back into the Octagon and reminded the world just why he was, at one point, the most dominating athlete in the sport and why he could be again.

But illness, which has done more than just setback the champ it’s hampered his greatness, has crept up again. This left confident heavyweight Junior dos Santos ready for action, but without an opponent. Leave it to Shane Carwin to step up and take on the action when UFC needed their main event.

Will this fight be better than Lesnar and Junior dos Santos would have been?

It’s quite possible. On a card stacked with intriguing matchups we’ll be looking at every fight and giving you every piece of analysis and prediction possible.
