Tottenham Transfer Rumours See Spurs Preparing for Big Moves In Summer Transfer Window Tottenham Hotspur come into this summer's transfer window looking to make some serious changes. Manager Harry Redknapp is anxious to get Spurs some help on the offensive side of the ball, particularly at their currently punchless striker position. They've also been looking for goalkeeping and defensive help, as well as a veteran leader or two to help keep the club from experiencing another late-season swoon. But, before that can happen, manager Harry Redknapp has to convince his ownership group, led by chairman Daniel Levy, to bankroll his big summer of spending. According to a report from Mirror Football, Redknapp revealed his shopping list earlier Thursday, and it looks like Redknapp is planning to have a busy summer. Per the report, Redknapp's top target remains Chelsea striker Didier Drogba, who would certainly provide White Hart Lane with the goal-scoring punch they crave. The 33-year-old Ivorian still has a nose for the goal (which is more than can be said for Peter Crouch), and would be an excellent asset for the club. But, Redknapp's not done there. West Ham star Scott Parker is also on his wish list, after the 30-year-old shone for the relegated Hammers last season. Brazilian starlet Leandro Damiao is also one of the Redknapp's targets, even though the club had a £10 million offer for the budding star rejected, and are hardly the only ones in the market for his services. All in all, Redknapp is planning to spend close to £30 million this summer, although that figure could go higher depending on who Spurs actually land, as they've looked at everyone from Lille striker Gervinho, to Espanyol's Pablo Osvaldo and Atletico Madrid's Sergio Aguero. There's no denying that Spurs do need to make changes in their roster, and to do so, they're going to have to drop some cash. There aren't any overly pricey moves in Redknapp's changes here, and frankly, this seems fairly doable, particularly if Redknapp manages to sell Crouch, Jermaine Defoe or some of the other struggling strikers out of his roster, as well as stone-handed keeper Gomes. In the end, while it's unlikely that the club grabs all of their top targets, you can bet that Redknapp grabs himself at least three players he can be happy with, to keep this team competing for a Champions League berth next season. It's hard to say exactly who joins the squad at White Hart Lane, but you know that with the glut of strikers and midfielder available, someone will come to Spurs.
