This is Not ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ Teaser Trailer |

Is this the most elaborate The Dark Knight Rises fake we've seen in some time, or a genuine bootleg of the teaser trailer for the film, supposedly playing in front of a Green Lantern screening? Unless everything we know is wrong, and our quick but close examination of the footage is totally off the mark, this is a fake teaser trailer for TDKR that uses some footage from Batman Begins and a bit of text and a cooperative audience to put forth a pretty good fake clip.

By way of comparison, here's the teaser for Batman Begins, followed by the first one for The Dark Knight. Whoever put this fake together timed it well and was smart enough to keep it simple, but looking at the real teasers for previous films, you've got to assume that WB, DC and Christopher Nolan will offer up a little more than some bats and a title card.
