Terrelle Pryor's Football Future Took a Big Hit With Jim Tressel and Ohio State's Scandal It's painfully obvious that former head coach Jim Tressel lost the most in Ohio State's scandal that hit its peak earlier this week. He lost his job, reputation and likely any offers in the near future to coach football again at the collegiate level. However, his quarterback also stands to lose just as much. Terrelle Pryor came to Ohio State as the nation's most-sought after recruit, but he might be leaving the school with a very uncertain future. Chances are Pryor won't return to Ohio State next season after everything that has happened, and he was already a guy who had a limited draft stock as a quarterback beforehand. Now, with all the allegations, Pryor will likely enter the supplemental draft. This eliminates him from playing college football in the future. But Pryor was a player who needed another season in college to become a more accomplished prospect. While he's certainly a tremendous athlete, Pryor lacks polish in so many areas of quarterback play. Deprived of that time, Pryor is now likely headed to the pro's way before he should be. An NFL team will give him a chance because of all the untapped potential, but Pryor is way behind the eight-ball in becoming the player he could be. So while Tressel's resignation remains the focal point of Ohio State's mess, don't forget about Pryor's future. A supremely talented player now has a shaky future in football.
