Simon Talks About Dumping Cheryl Cole As A Judge |

Cheryl Cole may currently be kicked off the judges table on The X Factor, but we'll surely be seeing her on the early episodes before she got the boot. Poor girl, she wasn't even able to make a clean exit after being canned. Simon talked to Access Hollywood and said that he offered Cheryl the gig to go back and front the UK X Factor, and she turned it down. I don't blame her. I'd want to disassociate too if I didn't need the money. Simon said, “You know, whenever you do anything in public it’s horrible, but that’s what happens when you make these shows. I hope that we’re gonna be friends going forward. She’ll be mad at me for awhile, but I didn’t do anything wrong.”
Simon's right...it's just business and time heals all wounds. It's not like he pulled a Weiner or anything. People get fired all the time. As for Cheryl, I'm sure she'll find her way on American TV someday. >
