 Quarterback Terrelle Pryor's future is in doubt.
Pryor, as most will remember, has been suspended for the first five games of the 2011 season after it was learned that he, along with four other teammates, had sold autographs to a tattoo parlor in exchange for services and cash. In exchange for being able to play in the Sugar Bowl at the end of the 2010 season, Pryor and his four horsemen agreed to return for their senior seasons. And then all hell broke lose. The knowledge of these transactions led to the forced resignation of head coach Jim Tressel this last week. With Tressel gone, many began to speculate that Pryor may attempt to enter the NFL Supplemental draft—a summer draft for players who do not file in time for the college draft in April. News comes today courtesy of CNNSI.com and Pryor's guardian, grandfather Willie Banks. Per the article, Banks said Pryor will only turn pro "if somebody pressures his butt bad." Burns says he spoke to Pryor just two days ago and that he did not discuss specifics about Pryor's football future, but Burns said Friday he does not think Pryor will leave Ohio State and miss his senior season. Pryor is also under a new NCAA investigation due to the number of cars he's been seen driving on and off campus. While it's too early to say for sure that Pryor will return to Ohio State, he could definitely benefit from another season of coaching and NFL preparation.
