The World According to Paris ate hard poo poo in ratings. It got only 409,000 total viewers, and 274,000 in the demographic. Honestly, I'm shocked, but think it's hilarious. The fact that The Bad Girl's Club gets over a million viewers on average, and Paris debuted so poorly shows you that no one cares about Paris anymore. The biggest selling point on this show was that it was her being "real." Well, my insiders (yes, I actually have a couple!) told me that it's soft-scripted--shows you that nothing Paris does is real. Let me preface that a lot of these soft-scripted shows have real moments, but for the most part there's A LOT of staging going on. I feel like her show would have done better on another network, but either way, she's toast.
