Move over Gene Smith. I know your job as general manager of the Jaguars is tough and there are major decisions to be made about contracts, free agency, and player personnel. But if you would grant me this one wish, I am sure I can fix the issues surrounding the Jaguars and bring this team back to prominence. We as a town here in Jacksonville, and also as fans, were spoiled with the likes of Jimmy Smith, Mark Brunell and Fred Taylor. We were teased with playoff runs early in our existence and two trips to the AFC title game where we lost both times. Let's just face facts: our offense is stale, our defense is porous, and our draft looks like a recipe for success in three years while we need to win NOW! Also, our ticket sales are down. Our team has no real way of knowing if there will be a season this year, and current fans and ticket holders may be turned off by the product on the field. The coaching staff is given opportunity after opportunity to win, but comes up short year after year. If you would allow me with my wisdom as a writer and fan to put together some ideas for helping you and your staff make changes, we may possibly bring home a Super Bowl Title within the next five years to our beloved city.
