Tyler Honeycutt Selected No. 24 Overall in 2011 NBA Mock Draft The Oklahoma City Thunder are no longer up and comers. They are full-fledged contenders. They managed to solidify their frontcourt with Kendrick Perkins while maintaining their best two players in Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook. All this team needs to do is slowly inch their way by bringing in depth. It is hard to get much better when you pick this late in the first round. MUST READ: 2011 NBA Mock Draft: Projecting All 1st and 2nd Round Picks A quick jaunt around finds a bevy of players with a ton of blemishes on their game. I have very high hopes for Tyler Honeycutt. For one, he is a hard worker that is unselfish to a fault on the court. The second, and most important fact is that he comes from the Ben Howland School of basketball. The UCLA program has been a breeding ground for NBA success stories. The consistent influx of dudes that can ball from Pauley Pavilion will continue with Honeycutt. He can score and loves to run the floor. He will measure up just fine in Oklahoma City. —Gabe Zaldivar For more 2011 NBA Draft coverage, stay tuned to Bleacher Report for updated NBA mock drafts, B/R's Big Board of Recruits, NBA Draft rumors, NBA Draft results and draft grades. 1.
