Previously on MED, Glenn is leveraging his muscles for fitness magazine centerfolds, Tara is open to love (but not from Jersey Shore guido castoffs), and Neill is the hypotenuse to Courtney's unrequited crush on Matt. Oh, and Drew is still gay and still annoying.

I don't NEED a sugar daddy, and yet....
This week, we get lots of awkward dating. Drew decides to enlist the professional help of an elderly Yenta. His goal is to find a relationship so that one day, he can have kids and a nanny to raise them. His first clue that this was going to be a disaster was the fact that the Yenta works off index cards without pictures to peruse. He gets set up with a puny ginger Mexican dude, and the date goes very poorly.
Tara decides to go on a date with an elderly dude who works for an oldies radio station, despite the fact that he has a few ex-wives and teenage children. He takes her bowling, and then gets into an accident in the parking lot. She tries to say that she had a good time, but I'm not buying it. Their good night kiss has all the firepower of a wet book of matches, and then he promptly trips over a planter as he goes to leave.
Matt continues to assert that he is, in fact, NOT a player, but organizes a group date with 3 chicks. The blonde looks none too pleased with having to share his attention, but she gets to play Barbie to his Ken and have none-anatomically correct sex with him later on.
We also get to see Matt... AT WORK! Like in an actual office and everything! Ladies and gentlemen, I stand corrected! He checks in with one of his underlings, and meets with his father so that he can posture for the camera how wonderful his son is doing. He interviews that his life keeps getting better and better, but he's still a ridiculous tool.
Glenn is relegated to post script this week. He gets to see the proofs from his photoshoot from last week, and creams himself over how good he looks. Also, he works out with Drew.
In the aftermath of last week's infamous group dinner debacle, Matt apologizes to Neill for Courtney's behavior and denies Neill's assertion that Courtney has feelings for him. Then he meets Courtney for dinner where he basically yells at her for being a Mean Girl to Neill. Courtney tries to explain herself yet again, using her opinions on how a mother should behave to hide her obsession for Matt. Relaxing by the pool, Courtney's mom reminds her to be nice and Tara suggests they invite Neill to dinner to mend fences and get to know each other.
At the dinner, Neill is late and bottles of wine are consumed in her absence. When she finally shows up, Courtney is so sloshed that she forgets the purpose of the dinner and continues her open judgments of Neill. Again, Neill handles herself well, politely standing up for herself and her choices as a woman and mother. Meanwhile, Tara just sits there, contributing nothing to the conversation, whatsoever. Then again, she was probably suffering from residual whiplash. In the end, Matt continues to be disappointed in Courtney, and she continues to wonder why he doesn't love her.
This was a really good episode, and I'm loving how things are progressing! Join me later in the week for the full recap!
