The bitches are back Gasmii!
I have to admit that I actually missed these bitches. Even in an episode where nothing really happened, I was far more entertained than I have been by the past couple of episodes of Basketball Wives.
After taking a week off, the wives are back to focusing on the men in their lives. Renee embarrasses drag queens everywhere by taking Junior back. See, Junior is looking at going back to jail, so he has turned his back on his current girlfriend in favor of the drag queen that will always wait for him while he is behind bars. Renee is, of course, falling for his line (and his pumpkin seeds) and is imagining life as one big happy family with her, AJ and Junior. Oh Renee, you dumb drag queen.
Drita sits down to explain the concept of a rat with her daughter Aleeya. The conversation definitely has mixed results. She is proud of her daughter’s loyalty but wants to stress that her dad did do bad things to end up in his position. She also laments the fact that Lee is not around to take on the roving band of raccoons that are terrorizing her trashcans. She takes matters into her own hands with a paintball gun, a flashlight and Carla.
Carla actually interacted with her kids at the beach and didn’t let them drown. Maybe she is just happy because she can now count the days till they are no longer her responsibility, because Joe is getting out of the joint in 11 days and counting.
I don’t really care about Karen, but she is on the show so I guess I have to tell you what happened with her. Karen has shipped her daughter back to Arizona so she can continue her road to self-discovery or whatever she calling this blatant attempt at fame whoring. She tries to garner some sympathy because the families of her father’s victims don’t like her trying to make money based on her murdering father’s name and calling it her life story.
Overall, it was a nice welcome back episode, and I can’t wait to get into the details with you in the full recap. Don’t forget, there is still a giant bag of Cheetos on the line for the first person who can get me a confirmed picture of Lee. In the meantime, what did you guys think of the episode?
