Florida Marlins Manager Edwin Rodriguez Resigns Edwin Rodriguez is now the Florida Marlins former manager. His resignation from the club was announced today. The team released a statement from Rodriguez which said: "I can't say enough about the effort that this staff and these players have put into this season. The Marlins were 32-39 on the season and coming off a nine-game losing streak when Rodriguez called it quits. They went from being in the race for the Wild Card to dead last in their division in just a couple weeks. They're now 12.5 games back from the Philadelphia Phillies in the division. Not much more could go wrong right now for the coldest team in baseball. David Daniels is an NFL Featured Columnist at Bleacher Report and a Syndicated Writer. Follow him on Twitter.
