Cougar Town Is Getting Closer To Finding A Name

TV Guide is reporting that Cougar Town is getting closer to finding a name. Courteney Cox and Busy Philipps are claiming they may change the name to Friends with Beverages. Courteney said, "it's a play on 'friends with benefits." --DUH. Thanks for clearing that up Court, I was totally confused. I know that's not the final title, but that's one of the ones they're playing with. Personally, I'm not a fan, it's too on the nose.

And what's the deal with trending theme titles? When Cougar Town came out, it was all about cougars everywhere. It was the joke of the hour, every TV show made a cougar joke, it was all over the internet...and now it's all about friends with benefits. Like the movie Friends with Benefits, No Strings Attached...the list goes on. Where's the originality, people?

If they're taking the female demo/drunk route they should name the show: Sh*tty Kittys!
