I spent the entire episode waiting for something to happen. And then, when something did happen? The damned security team had to break it up. Thank goodness for the comments. Otherwise, I would never be able to make it through recapping this show. This week there is only one comment from the mini cap and it is buried somewhere within this post. See if you can guess who said it.
SillyPutty is teaching TinyDancerRoyce how to play tennis. TinyDancerRoyce starts telling her about the conversation that she had with MessyMeeka, and RealWorldTami. I am truly starting to believe that Evelyn is the person telling RealWorldTami everything that MessyMeeka says.
It would have to be Jennifer, Shaunie or Evelyn. But, the reason I keep going back to Evelyn is because every time MessyMeeka talked shit about TinyDancerRoyce on camera it was to the group or directly to Evelyn. And the specifics of “she is not my kind of chick/bitch” were said directly to Evelyn. The only problem with the theory is that RealWorldTami is still on the outs with Evelyn. Unless, they have been mending fences off camera – which would really piss me off, because THAT would actually be an entertaining story line.
Imagine if Evelyn and RealWorldTami got together for the sole purpose of destroying MessyMeeka. It would be GLORIOUS!
I refuse to discuss the IVF storyline between Evelyn and Cinco de Mayo.
TinyDancerRoyce decides to host a pool party. She has a great time with her dancer friends, her new boyfriend, and a bunch of other people that are not basketball wives. She introduces her new boyfriend, who looks like a giant compared to her TinyDancer self. She is worried that she and her boyfriend are moving too fast, but they haven’t slept together yet so it seems like they could take it as slow as they need to, in my opinion. She also talks about how much easier her life is without Jennifer and Evelyn as her friends.
MessyMeeka meets with SillyPutty to find out who has been telling RealWorldTami what MessyMeeka said. MessyMeeka is taking the “I don’t remember saying that” approach. Good thing we have it on camera! SillyPutty doesn’t want to take a side and advises her to just talk to the main players. Which is something that anyone who hasn’t been shit talking would do. But, MessyMeeka isn’t quite ready to risk making the cool kids angry.
Seriously, bitch needs to go ahead and grease up for the smackdown.
Even though I am not indulging this baby story line, I do think it’s crazy that Cinco de Mayo doesn’t even know how old Evelyn is and also does not seem to actually like her considering the things he says about her appearance.
MessyMeeka meets up with Shaunie to try to find out more about who has been telling RealWorldTami what MessyMeeka has said. Shaunie tells her to just be careful of who she talks to. Notice how MessyMeeka didn’t play the “I don’t remember saying that” card to Shaunie? It’s because she totally knows what she said and is just pissed that she got caught. She can’t plug the leak without risking getting thrown out of the popular girls club, but she is worried that she may not be as “in” as she thought. Shaunie is playing innocent and while she is the first person I thought would have said something (just for the sake of adding drama to the show), I believe her when she says she hasn’t talked to RealWorldTami yet.
So, it leaves Evelyn and Jennifer. It could easily be Jennifer, but I don’t think it’s her. I really don’t. Mainly, because I don’t think that Jennifer has the time or inclination to talk about anyone but herself. Evelyn is self-centered, but she is also a gossipy bitch. Jennifer is also self-centered but doesn’t tend to make a move without consulting with Evelyn first – at least when it comes to TinyDancerRoyce.
TinyDancerRoyce and Brian, the giant, go to a pet store. Apparently, TinyDancerRoyce recently lost a pet and was very sad about it. TinyDancerRoyce sees an adorable puppy and Brian the giant buys it for her. We never see the dog again after that, so hopefully, she is still alive.
What a cute puppy. Is she still alive?
SillyPutty talks to TinyDancerRoyce about MessyMeeka. TinyDancerRoyce actually feels bad for MessyMeeka, even though she has been talking shit, because MessyMeeka is in for a hard time if she becomes friends with the popular girls.
SillyPutty wants to get TinyDancerRoyce to make up with all of the other girls. TinyDancerRoyce doesn’t want to be friends with them. She doesn’t like Evelyn She has no real problem with Jennifer, and doesn’t seem to care that Jennifer has a problem with her. She can be cordial; she just doesn’t want to be their friends. But, because SillyPutty is inviting her, she agrees to do it. She will just have to remember to bring her brass knuckles (it’s like she’s psychic).
TinyDancerRoyce meets with MessyMeeka to find out what was said. MessyMeeka tries to put TinyDancerRoyce on the defensive by saying that RealWorldTami was her pit bull in the situation. TinyDancerRoyce nips that immediately by explaining that she had no idea what RealWorldTami was going to say until she actually said it. She goes on to say that since she doesn’t talk to Jennifer, Evelyn, or Shaunie, she has no idea what they are saying or who they are saying it to. MessyMeeka is in a precarious position right now. She knows what shit she has said. She knows that shit has gotten back to the wrong people. She doesn’t know who it is that is selling her out. She has already gotten a straight denial from Shaunie, but she is really worried that it might be her new BFF’s Jennifer and Evelyn – which would mean that she has gotten played!
I could just ask Evelyn and Jennifer which one talked to RealWorldTami, but then they might not like me anymore.
TinyDancerRoyce just tells her she needs to watch her back. Because she is going to eventually be asked to pick a side. TinyDancerRoyce knows what she is talking about, and MessyMeeka should really take her advice – but we have seen how well she takes advice, so there is definitely more drama on the horizon.
TinyDancerRoyce and her dad sit down to discuss Brian. Dad thinks that TinyDancerRoyce is moving too fast. He just wants her to be happy. He thinks that she hasn’t had enough time to be alone. TinyDancerRoyce just doesn’t want to be alone and I feel really bad for her because that’s how women end up making stupid mistakes when it comes to the men in their lives.
So, now Evelyn, Jennifer and TinyDancerRoyce are about to sit down. Evelyn immediately is talking shit about what TinyDancerRoyce will be wearing. She doesn’t care about TinyDancerRoyce. What happened with them? Why do they hate each other so much? I’m only at episode 7 of the second season and even though Evelyn and Jennifer missed Royce’s fashion show performance, I don’t see where the hate is coming from. Why does ANYONE want to be Evelyn's friend?
I don't know why they want to be my friend either. I've done everything I can think of to make people hate me.
TinyDancerRoyce comes right out with how she doesn’t like Evelyn. TinyDancerRoyce denies talking shit about Jennifer on Twitter. Evelyn has been telling Jennifer this and Evelyn can’t even come up with anything that TinyDancerRoyce has ever said. TinyDancerRoyce is not friends with Eric, they speak on Twitter but that’s it.
Evelyn calls her a bum. TinyDancerRoyce calls her a ho. Evelyn is really mad because TinyDancerRoyce isn’t reacting the way she wants her to. She isn’t defensive or even phased by any of the shit that Evelyn is spewing so Evelyn is getting more and more angry by how calmly TinyDancerRoyce is taking it all. It’s the fact that TinyDancerRoyce isn’t groveling and isn’t the least bit concerned about what Evelyn thinks, added to the fact that Evelyn has been lying to Jennifer about what TinyDancerRoyce has been saying on Twitter that makes Evelyn fly off the handle.
Also, Jennifer is stupid. I can understand believing the stuff that your friends tell you. But, when you look at how many fights Evelyn has been at the center of, you would have to take her with a grain of salt. All Jennifer has to do is go on Twitter look at TinyDancerRoyce’s or Eric’s timeline and see what has been said for herself. Easy as pie. Evelyn knows that Jennifer won’t do that and is more willing to just take her at her word. So, she has been filling Jennifer’s head with lies and since she is about to be caught doing that she can’t take it. She especially can’t take it that TinyDancerRoyce could give two shits about what Evelyn thinks.
So, she throws a glass of water at TinyDancerRoyce.
What’s with the drink throwing these days? Is this now a mature way of fighting? I wouldn’t waste an alcoholic beverage on anyone because I don’t condone alcohol abuse, but I have some people in mind I would love to douse in kool-aid.
Anyway, TinyDancerRoyce grabs a glass, throws it at her, then grabs her wrist and brings her towards her fist. But, she wasn’t able to get a good punch in before security pulls them apart. Evelyn almost got her ass handed to her. That would have been the best thing ever. I hate the security on this show!

At least next week we will have RealWorldTami to entertain us by telling MessyMeeka just how little the other girls care for her. That should at least be good for a laugh.
I would apologize for the lateness of this recap, but I have a sneaking suspicion that you guys have my back when it comes to this show and how painfully boring it is. So, I will just say thank you for reading, even if I don’t get them up as quickly as I could.
