2011 NBA Mock Draft Shows Shallow Draft With Kawhi Leonard Pick
Welcome to the shallow depths of the 2011 NBA Draft. This is a draft class that lists Kawhi Leonard as a top ten pick. It pains me to know end that I slot Leonard in the ninth spot. The fact is, that is where he is getting egged, and that is where I believe he will go. That does not mean I think he is a bona fide top ten pick. I like my top ten picks to come in with less question marks on their game. Beggars can't be chooser this year. MUST READ: 2011 NBA Mock Draft: Where Does Kemba Walker End Up? Leonard already had questions arise about his shooting game. Then he came into the Combine and laid an egg of sorts. He was slower and softer than previously thought, and this was a guy that was supposed to be more athletic than proven. The upside is all we wanted to talk about. Now we have to consider that he is just a byproduct of a very shallow year. He may be better than most at his position, but he is far from a sure thing. The leaping and agility all came into question at the Combine. He will still go in the top ten, simply because thee is no better option. Once again, welcome to this year's class of prospects. I hope you weren't hoping to be overwhelmed.
