2011 NBA Mock Draft: Is Tyler Honeycutt a Fit for the Dallas Mavericks?
The Dallas Mavericks are in a position where they can take the best player left on the board at this point in the draft. While the team tries to win the NBA championship, Tyler Honeycutt is waiting in the wings for them.
Honeycutt is a talented defensive player, something the Mavs can use, so the rich get richer if they select him.
He may not be ready for the NBA with his offensive game, but Honeycutt can block shots and draw fouls in the lane. He’ll ride the pine for awhile, but will be a serviceable player down the road.
