2011 NBA Mock Draft Has Plenty Of Big Names, But Will They Translate To the Pro Level? When you have a lottery selection, you always hope that your pick is going to pan out and that you have a future All-Star on your hands. For some teams, that works out, but for others, these picks turn out to be flops and it sets back the progress of the franchise for years. This year, with such a thin draft class, there is such little margin for error, but what players are out there that can really help turn a franchise around and become difference makers for years to come. Obviously, the best two players in the draft are Kyrie Irving and Derrick Williams and both will be impact players in the NBA. Irving is a leader on and off of the court and he has such a great slashing ability and court vision that he's going to be someone that sets the tempo in Cleveland and helps bring the Cavaliers back from the depths the franchise sunk to after LeBron James left town for Miami. Williams, on the other hand, will be an electric wing player who will attack the basket and give us a lot of highlight reel plays. He's exactly the type of player the Minnesota Timberwolves need and it's going to be fun to see whether Williams or Irving will win out for the Rookie of the Year award. Outside of those two, the depth is pretty thin, especially if you're looking for someone to contribute right away. If I had to choose one, it would have to be Enes Kanter. I love his game and how he isn't afraid to get physical and mix it up in the paint. If the Cavaliers can land Irving and Kanter, then those two could do a lot to get Cleveland into the Eastern Conference playoff picture. For the teams that are further down in the lottery, my apologies, because it's going to be tough to try and find someone who isn't a project and won't need time to develop at the next level. It's going to a real scramble after the first couple of picks and then all bets are off once these players take the floor. - Tom Kinslow
