Jimmer Fredette Selected No. 12 Overall in 2011 NBA Mock Draft Now we come to the most polarizing player in the draft. You either think the world of his game, or you think he will be a middling NBAer years from now. Either way, Jimmer Fredette is going to be in the NBA for years to come. There isn’t a pundit out there that will deny that. The big question is what type of NBA player are we looking at here. I have confidence that Fredette will be good, but not great. He will surely add to whatever team he is selected to, but his defensive deficiencies are too big to ignore. The Utah Jazz can hardly afford to pass on this player that could slide as far as number 15. It isn’t that much of a reach for Utah to grab him here. You also are safe in knowing that the minute his name is announced for Utah, the Jazz will have sold out every home game. The Jazz get a guard that can come in for a few minutes at a time and light up the scoreboard and fan base. You can do a whole lot worse at the number 13 pick.
