2011 NBA Mock Draft: Boston Celtics must draft a center with Shaq gone.

Now that Shaquille O’Neal has officially announced his retirement, the Boston Celtics must draft a center in the upcoming NBA draft.

I always had them taking a big man, so it will come down to Oakland’s Keith Benson or international player Jeremy Tyler.  Tyler will be their man.

There were a lot of questions surrounding Tyler before the draft combine, but he improved his stock immensely during drills.  His measurements only added to his stock.

The Celtics aren’t getting any younger, so an infusion of youth (Tyler went pro after his junior year of high school) is precisely what the team needs.

He may not be ready to contribute right away, but Tyler could be an Andrew Bynum clone.
