2011 NBA Mock Draft: Who Will the Indiana Pacers Select in the 2011 NBA Draft? The Indiana Pacers may have been the No. 8 seed in the Eastern Conference playoffs this year, but that didn't stop them from trying. The Pacers gave it there all, and in the process they gave the top seeded Chicago Bulls quite a scare. The Pacers need help on defense, as well as a big time scorer. It will be hard to find a scoring machine here, and even though Chris Singleton is still on the board I don't see the Pacers passing up a chance to land a seven footer. MUST READ: 2011 NBA Mock Draft: Full Two-Round Post-Combine Projections for the Draft Donatas Motiejunas is a 7'0" 220-pound power forward from Lithuania. He is an aggressive scorer in the paint with great basketball intelligence. If he can put on 20 pounds before he joins the NBA then it's very possible he could play the center position. The Pacers do have talented power forwards already, but adding depth never hurts. Besides, it will be a a year or two before Motiejunas even joins the NBA. The Pacers are better off taking the talented international player here because he has so much potential. After all, it isn't every day you come across a seven footer.
